Thirty-two walkers from the You’ll Never Walk Alone Volunteers group enjoyed a fabulous day out at the British Ironworks Centre near Oswestry yesterday. The extensive and diverse range of displays all made from scrap and recycled materials was most impressive. It was a highly successful visit and it remained dry throughout our visit which included a brief visit to Dobbie’s Garden Centre for refreshments on the return journey. It is without doubt a spectacular place to visit with lots of themed walking trails for all ages and abilities.
Bringing people together from the different walking groups provided a good opportunity for meeting lots of new friends. Photos of the visit will be really appreciated for inclusion in our next group newsletter. We now look forward to the group’s “Open Day” on Friday the 11th of October to be held in the Prestatyn Parish Church Hall where everyone will be most welcome.
